DOST-CPU CPUGAD TBI Project Leader Gelvie Lagos and General Manager Mark Gil Peraman, along with the CPU Acting VP for Research, Development, and Extension and CPUGAD TBI Head of the Policy Development and Implementation Unit, Dr. Aries Roda D. Romallosa, welcomed representatives from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB)—Jenesis So Adriano, Center for Educational Technology Head of the Digital Learning Unit (DLU), and Jenina Perez, Learning Environment Unit Head. The visit included a short benchmarking discussion focused on the university’s AI implementations and integrated systems. Through this exchange, both CPUGAD TBI and DLS-CSB gained valuable insights into best practices for leveraging AI to enhance academic and operational efficiency. DOST-CPU CPUGAD TBI, led by Project Leader and HEX Technologies Founder Engr. Gelvie C. Lagos, joined by General Manager Mark Gil Peraman, participated in the CHED RAISE Summit 2026. Engr. Lagos showcased HEX Technologies’ flagship innovations: (1) AirDuino Architect, an AI-powered programming and simulation platform designed to support STEM education through accessible and interactive learning in electronics and programming; and (2) ClassMate, an AI-powered educational platform built for educators and learners that aims to provide personalized learning for everyone by enabling users to plan smarter, teach better, and learn faster. This significant participation highlights CPUGAD TBI’s active role in advancing AI education and innovation in the region. By presenting its startup portfolio and technology solutions at a national platform such as the CHED RAISE Summit, CPUGAD TBI and HEX Technologies strengthen the university’s visibility in the innovation ecosystem, foster potential collaborations with government, industry, and academe, and open opportunities for funding, piloting, and wider adoption of their technologies.
